Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born in South London, England into a mixed family. She has a mother who is English and her father Nigerian. She grew up in the south of a London council estate and attended The Brit School at age fourteen. In London, she studied at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which her acting diploma was obtained. She was a part of various stage productions during her college days, such as King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. Since then, Madekwe has appeared in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe's first film appearance was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), opposite Colin Farrell. Her success resulted in her being cast as Elisha in a single-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in six episodes Trexx & Flipside playing the character of Ollie. In 2008, she landed the part in the role of Bambi in the ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl, appearing in episodes two and three. Madekwe was also a part of 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. She also appeared as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written composed by David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut was in 2009 with the thriller The Beautiful Life. The drama aired for just two episodes before being ended on The CW. In February, she was cast 2011, as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe's exit from the series was officially announced in May of 2013. Following two seasons as the main character she made a guest performance in the first episode of season three. Between 2014 and 2016, Madekwe was a star as Tituba the television series Salem. Madekwe and her partner of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. They worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared alongside Madekwe on Salem.

Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress, who was born into an extended family. She was the daughter of Roy and Patty Leggat. Four of her older brothers were also present including twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's athletic brothers played baseball during summers and hockey during winters. Ashley couldn't walk, however she could dance. This led to the fact that when she turned 2 She discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley was enthralled by dance immediately after that. Ashley continued to compete until her high-school graduation with top divisions like ballet, tap, Jazz and Pointe. She also competed in Acrobatics, Acrobatics Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and much more. In addition, she won the top awards for soloists in every major dance contests, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, among others.
