Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the teenager age. Aspen Laddd started training in BJJ, kickboxing boxing and wrestling prior to making her professional debut at WCFC aged 18. Ladd followed up to take down three opponents over the course of a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were finished within the first minute. Ladd returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia lost to Aspen through a unanimous decision. It left a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd returned from her defeat in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, increasing her record to 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her professional debut. Aspen faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and was able to dominate her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 represented her debut fight with a bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission during the second round. Aspen employed her impressive fighting skills to defeat McGill and then ended the fight with a third-round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy as the catchweight (138.1lb) as Ladd did not make the weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy up to the point where she defeated her via a TKO. Invicta FC21 was her last match for the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 in the fight against Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina and pounded her with a ground and pound in the second round to secure a TKO victory. In her next fight, she beat Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd beat Evinger in the very first round she was awarded a bonus for her performance during the night. Her first fight of note came during her subsequent fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous verdict, and also her Fight of the Night award went to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in 16-seconds to break her streak of winning. After a quick break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. The fight was with Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was a unanimous decision.
